We received a DVD and 2 books in the mail this past week from the USO-Metro in the BWI Airport. They are books that Mike read to the kids while he was awaiting his outbound flight from BWI. The USO-Metro provides this service to service members on their way to deployments. It's a program called United Through Reading where the service member is video taped reading the books to their children.
Here are Ian & Jillian listening and watching their Daddy read them their new books.What a wonderful opportunity for Mike to connect with the kids and for the kids to enjoy "special time" with their Daddy.
